Since 1962, Wendella has been operating a rush hour commuter service between Michigan Avenue and the Northwestern Railroad Station.

Thousands of commuters ride via the Chicago River every week.

This yellow water taxi is know as the River Bus. It provides taxi service seven-days a week.

Shoreline Sightseeing Water Taxi is another popular taxi. They are red, white and blue.

These Water Taxis begin there services in May and runs through September, with additional service throughout the fall and for special events.

Shoreline’s commuter taxis run Monday through Friday on the Chicago River between Willis (Sears) Tower/Union Station, the Michigan Avenue Bridge and Erie Street.

The service times are in the mornings from 7:00 a.m. to 9:20 a.m., and evenings from 4:00 pm to 6:20 p.m.
