Illinois Water Parks Enjoy The Outdoors

Illinois water parks have plenty of outdoor park fun. Here’s a list of some of the popular parks for your convenience.I’m not affiliated with or get paid by these companies, so I don’t have a preference for one over another.Magic Waters is one of our largest outdoor water parks.

It’s Located at the intersection of Interstate 90/39 and Hwy 20, Rockford, Illinois.

This park has very thrilling rides such as the Splash Blaster where you are elevated 80 ft above Magic Waters and after entering a dark tunnel you plunge 35 ft over the edge.

There’s the Abyss that has two different slides that rise five stories above Magic Waters. The parks has tons of body slides and tube slides also.

It has Illinois’ largest wave pool that’s 707,000 gallons of heated water with wild ocean waves and calm relaxing water.

Among the parks many attractions is the Tsunami Bay waves attraction that has plenty of wave action going on. These waves get to at least six feet.

There’s Typhoon Terror where you have to get into a four-person tube to ride. The name should explain it all.

There’s The Little Lagoon that offers fun for the little kids.

Magic Waters won the Aquatics International Awards 2010 Rated #4 Publicly-owned Water park in the Country.

After you work up an appetite there are many restaurants here that you can eat at.

Rainbow Falls Water Park has a tropical theme. The rides range from giant water slides, tube slides, a lazy river, tot pool, to diving boards.

There’s a whirlpool, picnic areas and free parking. They have a leisure pool called Sunfish Bay. They have a vortex pool called the Barracuda Bowl.

They have a huge diving board and the Dolphin Drop, drop slide. The little ones can enjoy the Coqui Frog Pond. If you get hungry you can eat at the Hide-Away Café.

The Elk Grove Park District is located in Elk Grove Village, a northwest suburb of Chicago, just 10 minutes from O’Hare International Airport

Raging Waves Water Park is in suburban Yorkville, Illinois, which is only 45 minutes west of Downtown Chicago.

It’s a 45-Acre water park and the largest water park in the state.

It has an Australian theme, tube rides, speed slides, kiddie splash areas, a lazy river, and a wave pool.

There’s plenty of food to eat here also, after you wake up your appetite roaming this huge park! You and your children will definitely be ready to rest after you leave this park.
