The Mackinac Island Bridge is the third longest suspension bridge in the world and you will have to pay a toll to cross.

Pellston Airport is approximately 15 miles from the Island.

The island can be reached by private boat, ferry, or small aircraft, and in the winter, by snowmobile.

The airport has a 3,500-foot paved runway, and charter air service from the mainland also.
