The Sears Tower Skydeck See How Far You Can See

The Sears Tower Skydeck is the place to be if you want to learn fun touch screen facts about Chicago and it’s architecture.It’s located in the Sears tower in Chicago on the 103rd floor. The Tower is now called the Willis Tower.

There is plenty of information about people of the city, and how it became an architectural mecca. This is a must stop place to go in this city!

You can see our neighboring states on a clear day. This Skydeck offers a lot of things to see.

Each time of the day has it’s unique perspective and view of this wonderful city.

Some people like to come when the sun is setting, so they can see a breathtaking view of the city and outlying areas.

Some like to come when it’s early in the day to specifically see and pick out certain locations and neighboring states.

It’s also a place to go if you are brave at heart and want to have daredevil fun!

The Ledge is 1,353 feet in the air. It is a glass balcony that extends four feet outside the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower.

You can stand on it and look down or take pictures there.

There can be people lined up to catch a skydeck glimpse of the views that this massive building structure has to offer.

If you have a Chicago City Pass, you can get quicker access to the Sears Tower Skydeck.

There are also lines to get in at the Sears Towers Chicago/Willis Tower so be prepared.

If you are a couple, you can enjoy what the tower calls Date Night where you can go and see the sunset and night view of the city, and the stars.

A Date Night allows you to enjoy each others company with the city lights stars.

The Skydeck advises that you should plan on arriving to the Skydeck 30-45 minutes prior to your sunset time.

Hours: The Skydeck is open 365 days a year.

April through September from 9am-10pm & October through March from 10am-8pm, Last admission 30 min. before closing.
