Taste Of Chicago A Festival Where You Can Have Food And Fun!

If the Taste of Chicago is fastly approaching or the days of this event have passed. It’s Okay! Because the Taste of Chicago happens every year for a series of days at Grant Park.

The Chicago festivals duration is in early July. So if this food event has already passed then you can plan for it for the next year.

The Taste has occurred every year since 1980. This Food festival is a very popular event. It features a host of different varieties of food from many of Chicago’s popular restaurants.

Whatever kind of delicious Chicago Foods and creations you have a taste for it’s at the Taste!

You just simply purchase food tickets from a booth of choice and you get to buy your food at one of the 59 restaurants that will be represented there.

The delicious variety of food is what you have to pay for.

This great event happens every year in Chicago Grant Park.

Not only is this a food venue event for the many food inquiring Chicagoans but it a music festival venue.

When you come to this event, you better be ready to dance, laugh, eat and have a good time!

There is plenty of socialization and the enjoyment of life going on here! So just be prepared.

Every year the Taste brings in live bands and talented and famous musical entertainers. You will enjoy many concerts in Chicago here.

This year the Taste has games, along with arts and crafts at the Family Pavilion. Bring your loved ones and enjoy family time.

There is also ample shaded seating at the Humana Senior Pavilion.

Every year it seems to grow more and more. The food seems to get tastier and tastier.

The Chicago public transportation is equipped to handle large crowds of people with buses and trains leaving every few minutes.

This event attracts thousands of people every year and is very crowded especially when it’s time to go home.

Also an annual Humana Race to Taste, which is a 5K Run/2-Mile Walk, is held every year.

The course will take you through Chicago’s beautiful Grant Park and lakefront.

Admission and events free, with food and drinks purchased via ‘Taste Tickets’ only. Tickets are sold in strips of 12 for $8.

Getting there: CTA bus lines #145 or #151 to Monroe/Michigan stop, or Loop Red and Blue line subway stops to Monroe Harbor.
